Fez, Morocco

When I visited Fez it was way out of season so I was basically alone in the hostel and the streets had no one in them. The town was lacking the energy I was looking for and was to quite for me while I was there, so I only stayed for a few days before heading back to Marrakesh.

I will say though that it was very pretty and the small narrow streets had their charms. It was interesting because the shops were still open but they had no customers. So you would end up sitting and having tea with someone for hours with out even noticing. Again the people were incredibly friendly as they were everywhere in Morocco. I could have stayed longer but the empty hostel and empty streets made me crave the chaos of Marrakesh.
