Marrakesh, Morocco

Marrakesh was one of my favorite places. The energy in town every night was just amazing and the people were super friendly. I stayed there for 3 weeks in total and had a absolute great time. The food was super cheap, tasted great and the cafes had amazing coffee. The side trip to Merzouga was only $90 USD and allowed me to see more of the country side and ride a camel into the Sahara desert. If you are ever in Marrakesh you should really consider this side trip its great fun and actually really cheap for the experience you get.

By the time I left I was not only friends with the hostel staff but with most of the shop owners down the street. Really the people I met there were incredibly friendly and open some of my best memories are from Marrakesh.
